Consider approving Resolution No. 2014-083 casting votes for the election of representatives to Places 1-4 of the Texas Municipal League (TML) Intergovernmental Risk Pool Board of Trustees and take appropriate action.

BACKGROUND:
The City is entitled to cast votes for the election of representatives for Places 1-4 of the Board of Trustees for the TML Intergovernmental Risk Pool. Each Member of the Pool is entitled to vote for Board of Trustee members.
DISCUSSION:
The officials listed on the ballot have been nominated to serve a six year term on the TML Intergovernmental Risk Pool (Workers' Compensation, Property and Liability) Board of Trustees. The City may vote for one candidate in each place. Candidates for each place are:
Place 1 - Robert T. Herrera
Place 2 - John W. Fullen
Place 3 - George Shackelford
Place 4 - Peter Vargas OR Rona Stringfellow
RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends casting an official ballot in the TML Intergovernmental Risk Pool Board of Trustees upcoming election.
ACTIONS:
1) Motion to approve Resolution No. 2014-083 casting votes for the election of representatives to Places 1-4 of the Texas Municipal League (TML) Intergovernmental Risk Pool Board of Trustees.
2) Motion to deny Resolution No. 2014-083 casting votes for the election of representatives to Places 1-4 of the Texas Municipal League (TML) Intergovernmental Risk Pool Board of Trustees.
3) Motion to modify to meet the needs of the Council.
4) Motion to table the issue for further study or take no action.
