The City Council will convene in a closed Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, Legal Advice, to receive legal advice and consultation from the city attorney regarding a request for legal defense by a councilmember on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
