BACKGROUND:
In an effort to support the City's commitment to traffic safety, the City, in partnership with North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), has evaluated traffic signal communication solutions to improve the reliability, efficiency, and coordination of the City's 60 signalized intersections.
In early 2025, the City participated in a Regional Traffic Signal Program Survey conducted by the NCTCOG.
