BACKGROUND:
The Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District has offered to donate two tracts of real property located at 2580 and 2590 Valley View Lane, consisting of approximately 2.344 acres, for the City's public use. This property fronts Valley View Lane and consists of land in front of the Keenan Cemetery and a portion of the Rose Garden.
The donated land must be used for public use, and the City will be responsible for any fees associated with closing documents, titles, surveys, and attorney fees totaling $7500.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The fees associated with this donation are an unbudgeted financial impact that will be expensed from the General Government Special Services Account.
