INTRODUCTION BY THE MAYOR:
On behalf of the City Council, I am pleased to present this proclamation to the Farmers Branch Codgers Softball team.
BACKGROUND:
The Farmers Branch Codgers is a local softball team made up of players 65 years and older. The Codgers were formed in 1993 and are members of the Metroplex Senior Citizens Softball Association. They completed their regular season with a 33-3 record and won the championship game against the Richardson Road Runners at the Metroplex Softball Tournament.
This proclamation has been prepared to celebrate the Codger’s successful season.
