BACKGROUND:
The applicant is requesting approval of a Detailed Site Plan for a small retail development at 13701 Midway Road. This underdeveloped site is located just north of the existing retail center known as "Midway Commons". The proposed site will consist of a new 6,600 square foot masonry building and 53 total parking spaces. The proposed site will contain approximately 21% landscaped open space.
 
RECOMMENDATION:
The proposed Detailed Site Plan meets all the required development standards of Planned Development No. 64 and the City.
 
On May 12, 2014, the Planning & Zoning Commission voted to recommend approval of this Detailed Site Plan for 13701 Midway Road outlined in Resolution No. 2014-045.
 
ACTIONS:
1)      Motion to approve Resolution No. 2014-045 approving a Detailed Site Plan for a 1 acre retail center to be located on Lot 3, Block A, of the Midway Alpha Retail Center, or more commonly known as 13701 Midway Road.
2)      Motion to deny Resolution No. 2014-045 approving a Detailed Site Plan for a 1 acre retail center to be located on Lot 3, Block A, of the Midway Alpha Retail Center, or more commonly known as 13701 Midway Road.
3)      Motion to modify Resolution No. 2014-045 approving a Detailed Site Plan for a 1 acre retail center to be located on Lot 3, Block A, of the Midway Alpha Retail Center, or more commonly known as 13701 Midway Road.
4)      Motion to table the issue for further study or to take no action.
