Consider appointment of Katie Roberts as a Board Member Emeritus of the Senior Advisory Board, presentation of a proclamation recognizing her service, and take appropriate action.

BACKGROUND:
The position of Board Member Emeritus was created to allow long time board members to resign from their position and still have the ability to remain actively involved as an Ex Officio member. Long time board members typically have a wealth of experience and knowledge and can continue to serve and offer great value to the City.
DISCUSSION:
Katie Roberts recently resigned after serving for 24 years on the Senior Advisory Council and the Senior Advisory Board. The Senior Advisory Board voted unanimously to recommend Katie Roberts as a Board Member Emeritus for the Senior Advisory Board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended motion by City Administration to appoint Katie Roberts as Board Member Emeritus of the Senior Advisory Board.
