BACKGROUND:
Tyler Daniels passed away February 1, 2014 in Farmers Branch at the age of twenty. The Daniels family are residents of Farmers Branch, and Tyler was active at the Community Recreation Center and the Skate Park.
DISCUSSION:
Tyler's family collected donations in the amount of $1,500 to fund a tree and a "City in the Park" bench. They would like for the tree and bench to be placed close to the Skate Park.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended motion by City Administration to accept the donation in the amount of $1,500 to fund a park bench and tree in memory of Tyler Daniels.
