BACKGROUND:
QuikTrip Corporation are the owners of a vacant 7.1120 acre tract of land located at the southeast corner of Luna Road and LBJ Freeway, addressed as 1600 LBJ Freeway. The property was previously platted in 1987 as Park West Phase V, described on that plat as Tract F.
DISCUSSION:
The owners desire to re-plat the property as QT 999 Addition, Lot 1 and 2, Block A, for development as a gas station and convenience store. A site plan and specific use permit was approved on January 5, 2016 by the passing of Ordinance No. 3351.
The proposed final plat of QT 999 Addition, Lot 1 and 2, Block A is consistent with the Texas Local Government Code and the City’s platting requirements and also consistent with the City’s Guiding Principles; to provide strong, thriving commercial and residential neighborhoods through planning, land use, development, code enforcement, revitalization activities and programs.
RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends final plat approval of QT 999 Addition, Lot 1 and 2, Block A.
ACTIONS:
1. Motion to APPROVE the final plat of QT 999 Addition, Lot 1 and 2, Block A.
2. Motion to DENY the final plat of QT 999 Addition, Lot 1 and 2, Block A.
3. Any other action desired by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
