Consider approving Resolution No. 2016-058 for a Detailed Site Plan for a mixed-use development located at 4100 and 4141 Blue Lake Circle and 4020, 4040 and 4100 McEwen Drive; and take appropriate action.

BACKGROUND:
The applicant, Leeds Real Estate Services, Inc., is proposing to remove the four existing office buildings and create a new mixed-use development called Midway Urban Village. The site is located within Planned Development District No. 90 (PD-90).
DISCUSSION:
The proposal will be a combination of four multifamily apartment buildings with 680 dwelling units. The proposal also includes 23,258 sf of retail. This area will be developed in two phases.
RECOMMENDATION:
On August 22nd, 2016 the Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend approval of the proposed Detailed Site Plan as described in Resolution No. 2016-058.
