BACKGROUND:
In preparation of the October 1 requirement for screening all recycling carts from view along public streets, the Community Services and Public Works departments have worked together to develop a simple Implementation Plan for reminding citizens of the screening requirements. In addition, a 3 step notification process has been proposed to give everyone ample time to screen their cart, or information as to the proper way to return the cart to the City if participation in the program is not desired.
