BACKGROUND:
The Farmers Branch Library presents the fourth annual winner of the Summer Reading Club Traveling Trophy. Each year the Summer Reading Club encourages children to read throughout the summer months and awards our special trophy to the school with the highest student participation.
Both private, public and home schools throughout Carrollton, Farmers Branch and Dallas participated in our reading club this year. A total of 1,330 reading logs were registered and 642 reading logs were completed and turned in for prizes. Janie Stark’s completions totaled 72, with Farmers Branch Elementary trailing at 33 completions.
Congratulations to Janie Stark on winning the trophy for the fourth year in a row!
