BACKGROUND:
The Sustainability Committee was formalized by City Council on April 5, 2016. The Committee is composed of 9 residents of the city of Farmers Branch and 1 ex oficio position, Brookhaven College Director of Sustainability. The group has met and established sub committees and committee procedures. In addition, the committee has developed priorities for the sub committees to assess and bring to the Committee as a whole for deliberation and possible recommendation to City Council. This presentation will summarize their work to date as well as the provide City Council with their priorities for the coming year.
