The Citizen Bond Committee was formed by the City Council in February 2016. Seventeen members of the community were appointed to work together and assess the capital needs of the City of Farmers Branch over the next five to ten year period, and to provide a written report of any recommendation of listing of projects and anticipated financial capital investment necessary to the City Council. Six Sub-Committees were formed, and considered various projects in the areas of Arts & Culture, Communications, Economic Development - Commercial, Economic Development - Residential, Parks & Recreation and Public Safety.
The City Council will review and prioritize these recommendations for a possible Quality of Life Bond election.
