BACKGROUND:
The applicant, Z. Makahni, is requesting an amendment to an existing Specific Use Permit, (See Ordinance 3326). The City Council approved this Ordinance on June 16, 2015. The Ordinance rezoned the property from PD-88, “Commerce” subdistrict to “Urban Center” subdistrict to allow multi-family residential as well as granting a SUP for a hotel use. The amendment request is to allow a 4-story extended stay hotel.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this Specific Use Permit.
