Conduct a public hearing and consider adopting Ordinance No. 3434 to amend the Regulating Plan - Street Types of the Planned Development District No. 86 (PD-86), also known as the Station Area Code; and take appropriate action.

BACKGROUND:
The City of Farmers Branch initiated an amendment to PD-86 to create a new street type for Bee Street, the portion located south of Valley View Lane. This amendment is meant to accommodate the proposed Station Area Urban Village.
DISCUSSION:
The amendment will change the cross section of Bee Street between Valley View Lane and Pepperwood Street to allow a wider configuration.
RECOMMENDATION:
On February 27th, 2017, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of the zoning amendment of PD-86 as presented in the Ordinance No. 3434.
