Title

Conduct a public hearing and consider approving Resolution No. 2017-066 for a Detailed Site Plan for a mixed-use development on a 3.73-acres site located along Bee Street, south of Valley View Lane; and take appropriate action.

 

Body

BACKGROUND:

The applicant, FB Land Ltd / Mustang Station retail, is proposing a mixed use development that will include retail and restaurant uses. The proposed 3.73-acre site is located in the block bordered by the DART railway, Pike Street, Pepperwood Street, Goodland Street and Valley View Lane. The site is located within Planned Development District No 86 (PD-86).

 

DISCUSSION:

The applicant, FB Land Ltd, is proposing to create a new restaurant and retail area along Bee Street, south of Valley View Lane. This development will include 5 buildings, 1 and 2 stories in height and containing 37,604 square feet. 

The proposed Detailed Site Plan includes Special Exceptions for the Building Envelope Standards.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

On April 24th 2017, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of the Detailed Site Plan as presented in Resolution No. 2017-066.
