Title

Receive an update regarding the 2017 Resident Satisfaction Survey.

Body

BACKGROUND:

Every two years, the City of Farmers Branch conducts a citywide survey to evaluate the residents’ satisfaction with City services. The consistent administering of the survey allows for trends to be evaluated and resident satisfaction to be measured over time. The 2017 Resident Satisfaction Survey added more open-ended questions and is designed to present importance in relation to quality. The 2017 survey had increased participation from the 2014 iteration and was almost exclusively completed online.

DISCUSSION:

Andrea Thomas with National Service Research conducted the survey, is presenting the results, and she will be available to answer any questions about the survey. The survey results show mostly positive trends and favorable results when compared to previous surveys and our market comparable cities.
