Conduct a public hearing and consider adopting the Ordinance No. 3452 for a Specific Use Permit for off-premise wine sales located at 13612 Midway Road, Suite 331-1, and take appropriate action.

BACKGROUND:
The subject site is located on a 2.386 acre tract near the northwest corner of Midway Road and Alpha Road and is zoned Light Industrial (LI), which requires a Specific Use Permit for off-premise beer and wine sales. The site is surrounded by existing commercial and office uses.
DISCUSSION:
The applicant, Cordon Wines is seeking a Specific Use Permit to open a wine club office. Cordon Wines is proposing to occupy Suite 331-1, which is approximately 100 square feet, located on the third floor of the existing six-story office building. TABC requires an off-premise wine permit from the city for this type of business. No retail sales are proposed at this location.
RECOMMENDATION:
On June 12th, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of the Specific Use Permit as described in the Ordinance No. 3452.
