BACKGROUND:
The Senior Advisory Board has a vacancy (Place 9), with a term expiring June 30, 2019. As vacancies occur, City Council may appoint members to fill any open positions(s) on a Board or Commission.
DISCUSSION:
The City Secretary has received an application from Marthann Dafft who wishes to serve on the Senior Advisory Board. Ms. Dafft is a resident of Farmers Branch, a registered voter and passed all background check requirements.
RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends appointing a member to fill Place 9, on the Senior Advisory Board, for a term expiring June 30, 2019.
