The Sustainability Committee will provide a quarterly update regarding their activities. They will provide recommendations to City Council regarding future purchasing of green energy, the potential for textile recycling, encouraging residents and home builders to deconstruct homes during the demolition phase.
The Sustainability Committee will discuss with City Council their desire to have a mechanism to communicate sustainability initiatives with residents of Farmers Branch. Finally, they will seek direction regarding sustainability initiatives Council would like them to review.
