Discuss landscaping requirements for residential and non-residential uses.

BACKGROUND:
At the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on February 12, 2018, the Commission requested to receive an update related to the city’s landscaping requirements for single-family uses. More recently at the City Council meeting on April 3, 2018, City Council requested that the Commission evaluate minimum landscaping requirements for all development (e.g. minimum landscape area percentage, trees).
Therefore, Staff will present to the Commission at its meeting on April 9, 2018, landscaping requirements for all development types (residential and non-residential) and be available to answer any questions related to this item.
This item is included on the Commission’s work plan for 2018, as discussed at the Commission’s meeting on March 12, 2018.
