Consider approving Resolution No 2018-42, approving the Amended and Restated Bylaws for the North Texas Emergency Communications Center; and take appropriate action.

BACKGROUND:
On January 27, 2014 the City of Carrollton, Addison, Coppell and Farmers Branch all entered into an interlocal agreement to create the North Texas Communications Center.
DISCUSSION:
The NTECC Board of Directors has reviewed and approved amendments to the NTECC Bylaws. The amendments include changing the meeting frequency from at least monthly to quarterly and the meeting location to include both Dallas and Denton County so that meetings can also be held at the NTECC facility in Carrollton. The City Councils of all Cities must approve any amendments by Resolutions.
RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends approval of Resolution No. 2018-42, amending the restated Bylaws for the North Texas Emergency Communications Center.
POSSIBLE COUNCIL ACTION:
1. I move to approve Resolution No. 2018-42, as presented.
2. I move to approve Resolution No. 2018-42, with modifications.
3. I move to table the issue for further study or take no action.
