Consider adopting Ordinance No. 3503, adopting the Home Rule Charter amendments approved by voters at the May 5, 2018 Special Election; and take appropriate action.

BACKGROUND:
On May 5, 2018 at a Special Election, voters approved fifteen charter amendments by majority vote. Ordinance No. 3503 authorizes the City Council to approve and adopt the charter amendments.
RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends approval of Ordinance No. 3503, adopting amendments to the Home Rule Charter.
POSSIBLE COUNCIL ACTION:
1. I move to approve Ordinance No. 3503, as presented.
2. I move to approve Ordinance No. 3503, with modifications.
3. I move to table the issue for further study or take no action.
