BACKGROUND:
The applicants, Raymond and Joetta Moraski, are proposing to rebuild one of the two existing detached accessory buildings in the rear yard of their property at 13655 Janwood Lane. The two detached structures will cumulatively exceed 120 square feet. The Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance requires approval of a Specific Use Permit for accessory buildings constructed with at least one full wall with or without windows and / or door openings (other than detached garage or carport used only for vehicle storage) covering a lot area greater than 120 square feet. The property is located within the Residential District (R-6).
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the Specific Use Permit.
