BACKGROUND:
The City has engaged a consultant team, Catalyst Commercial Inc., with performing a market study analysis of the IH-35 corridor and its relationship to the regional market. The purpose of the analysis is to help identify potential future land use opportunities in order for the City to determine its next steps as it relates to the corridor, such as creating and establishing a new long-term vision built on existing strengths and opportunities.
At the City Council meeting on June 19, 2018, Jason Claunch, Catalyst Commercial Inc., will present the results of the market study analysis and include summary findings in order to assist the City Council with determining the next steps as it relates to the corridor.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends City Council provide direction related to next steps for the IH-35 Corridor.
