BACKGROUND:
Council received a presentation during the May 15, 2018 City Council meeting related to current speed limits on roadways within the corporate limits of Farmers Branch. Additional questions were raised by Council related to the authority of the City to lower speed limits and what processes and cost might be associated with making such a change.
DISCUSSION:
Provide a report on additional information gathered by staff regarding the process for City Council to change speed limits within the City and provide associated cost estimations and other associated requirements.
