Discuss potential renaming of the Farmers Branch Senior Center.

BACKGROUND:
A survey was recently conducted soliciting naming ideas for the Senior Center. The list of suggested names was presented to the Senior Advisory Board for consideration and recommendation to City Council. At a special called Board meeting on July 19, 2018 the Board created a list of five names, from those suggested, to present to City Council as names to consider.
The five names recommended by the Board, in order of highest preference (1) to lowest (5) are:
1. The Branch Connection
2. Farmers Branch Adult Activities Center
3. Golden Branches
4. Farmers Branch Community Center
5. Farmers Branch Friendship Center
Included with agenda item are a list of possible names submitted by the public for consideration and Resolution No. 2015-080 relative to naming of City facilities.
Matt Rice, Chair of the Senior Advisory Board will be present to discuss this issue with City Council.
