BACKGROUND:
ATMOS Energy is wanting to donate $1,000 to help purchase fire and life safety equipment for the City of Farmers Branch. The funds are targeted for the Fire Department to help pay for a HURST Strongarm electric forcible entry rescue tool for Q-133.
POSSIBLE COUNCIL ACTION:
1. I move to approve the acceptance of a donation of $1,000 for the Fire Department from ATMOS Energy, and amend the FY2017-2018 budget as required.
2. I move to deny the acceptance of a donation of $1,000 for the Fire Department from ATMOS Energy, and amend the FY2017-2018 budget as required.
3. I move to approve the acceptance of a donation of $1,000 for the Fire Department from ATMOS Energy, and amend the FY 2017-2018 budget as require, with modifications.
4. I move to table the issue for further study or take no action.
