Title

Consider approving Resolution No. 2019-01 a request for a Detailed Site Plan for a fire station and open space improvements located at 13333 Alpha Link; and take appropriate action

 

Body

BACKGROUND:

The applicant, City of Farmers Branch, is requesting approval of a Detailed Site Plan for the relocation of Fire Station No. 2 to the property located at 13333 Alpha Link. The subject site is approximately 3.85 acres and is proposed to be developed in two phases. The first phase will consist of the development of the fire station to the east, and the second phase will consist of open space improvements to the west. The site is located within Planned Development District No. 20 (PD-20), which allows local government public facilities by right.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

On December 10, 2018, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered this request and voted unanimously to recommend approval of the Detailed Site Plan, as presented in Resolution No. 2019-01.
