BACKGROUND:
The City Council has the authority to make an appointment for a member to serve on the Metrocrest Hospital Authority Board. With the resignation of Carl King, the board currently has a vacancy for Place 7 for an unexpired term ending December 1, 2019.
DISCUSSION:
Ms. Natasha Singh is seeking appointment to fill the vacancy on the Metrocrest Hospital Authority Board. Dr. Singh has not only served as a mentor, but has also conducted medical research and published multiple books in her profession. Her biography has been included in the City Council packet.
The City Council may wish to appoint Natasha Singh, M.D. to fill the vacancy for Place 7, to serve an unexpired term ending December 1, 2019.
RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends appointing Natasha Singh, M.D. to the Metrocrest Hospital Authority Board, Place 7, to fill an unexpired term ending December 1, 2019.
