Consider excusing the absence of Mayor Robert Dye from the March 19, 2019 City Council meeting; and take appropriate action

BACKGROUND:
As a matter or practice, the City Council has excused the absence of a City Council member when a member has a pre noticed excusable absence. By excusing an absence the City Council member is not penalized with using one of the three unexcused absences allowed in the Charter.
DISCUSSION:
The City Council may wish to consider excusing the absence of Mayor Dye from the March 19, 2019 City Council meeting.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the excused absence of Mayor Dye from the March 19, 2019 City Council meeting.
ACTIONS:
1) Motion to approve the excused absence of Mayor Robert Dye from the March 19, 2019 City Council meeting.
2) Motion to deny approval of the excused absence of Mayor Dye from the March 19, 2019 City Council meeting.
3) Motion to modify to meet the needs of the Council.
4) Motion to table the issue for further study or take no action.
