BACKGROUND:
At the April 2, 2019 City Council meeting, the Public Art and Culture Ad Hoc Committee provided a final report to the City Council, which would have completed the board requirements.
The Board recommended that City Council establish a Public Art and Culture Committee as a standing committee of the City.
DISCUSSION:
Tonight, the City Council will consider adopting an Ordinance to establish the Public Art and Culture Committee as a standing committee.
RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends adopting Ordinance No. 3567, establishing the Public Art and Culture Committee as a standing committee of the City.
POSSIBLE COUNCIL ACTION:
1. I move to approve Ordinance No. 3567, as presented.
2. I move to approve Ordinance No. 3567, with modifications.
3. I move to table the issue for further study or take no action.
