Dallas County contacted the City regarding a potential partnership with the Steven A. Cohen Foundation. The Foundation provides comprehensive mental health care including counseling, medication management, case management, mental health services, and traumatic brain injury evaluation and treatment for combat veterans and their families regardless of ability to pay. The Foundation would provide veterans that meet certain criteria to the City for review and potential volunteer work at the Animal Adoption Center. This presentation provides and overview of the program and the City’s pending participation.
