BACKGROUND:
The proposed Ordinance No. 3577 amends Appendix A to include revised permit fee structure for residential construction fees to be in compliance with recently passed H.B. 852.
DISCUSSION:
With significant residential development occurring on the West side coupled with the September 2017 changes to our permit fee structure, staff has proposed a square footage-based fee structure amendment to Appendix A. This amendment will address the new rules of H.B. 852 and keep the subsequent residential permit fees generated as a result of the amendments, revenue neutral.

Staff recommends approval of Ordinance 3577 as presented.
