BACKGROUND:
The FY2019-20 Fixed Asset Fund one additional medium duty vehicle for the Parks and Recreation Department. This truck is for a newly established construction crew to focus on construction projects with a longer term savings to the City versus contracting out the work to be completed.
DISCUSSION:
The City of Farmers Branch requested a quotation from the Good Buy Purchasing Program. City Administration evaluated the quotation as to meeting specifications and desire to award the purchase of the vehicle to Silsbee Ford.
The FY2019-20 budget amount for the vehicles is $ 58,000. The quotations came in $ 151 under the anticipated budgeted amount.

POSSIBLE COUNCIL ACTION:
1. I move to approve Resolution 2019-160 authorizing the City Manager to approve the purchase of one vehicle in the total amount of $ 57,849.
