BACKGROUND:
This recognition provides validation of the data-driven management and reporting efforts that have been successfully implemented in Farmers Branch. Combining data with context, the City of Farmers Branch is able to show the high level of service every department provides and gives residents insight into the many functions carried out on a daily basis. A commitment to this process resulted in the Performance FBTX platform that sits on the City’s website and is open for everyone to view. Farmers Branch is one of only three cities in the State of Texas and one of twenty-seven organizations across the country to reach the highest level of recognition possible in performance management: the Certificate of Excellence.
