BACKGROUND:
The FY2019-20 Fixed Asset Fund includes one replacement light duty command vehicle for the Fire Department. The vehicle being replaced meets the recommended replacement criteria based on life cycle costs, age, and utilization and supports Critical Business Outcome - Plan for, build, and maintain high quality public assets.
DISCUSSION:
The City of Farmers Branch requested quotations from the Houston-Galveston Area Council Purchasing Cooperative. City Administration evaluated the quotation as to meeting specifications and desire to award the purchase of the replacement vehicle to Siddons-Martin Emergency Group.
The FY2019-20 budget amount for the one replacement vehicle is $60,500. The quotations came in $ 42 under the anticipated budgeted amount.

RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends to approve the purchase of one replacement command vehicle from Siddons-Martin Emergency Group through Houston-Galveston Area Council Purchasing Cooperative budgeted in the FY2019-20 Budget.
POSSIBLE COUNCIL ACTION:
1. I move to approve Resolution 2019-173 authorizing the City Manager to approve the purchase of one replacement vehicle in the total amount of $60,458.
