BACKGROUND:
Keep Farmers Branch Beautiful is 1 of 27 affiliates out of nearly 300 to achieve Keep Texas Beautiful Silver Status for “going above and beyond.” Specifically mentioned in the recognition was the creation of the Monarch Way Station Butterfly Garden at the Farmers Branch Rose Garden. Continuing the philosophy of going above and beyond, Keep Farmers Branch Beautiful, using funding sources beyond the City, would like to donate a ‘butterfly’ bench to the Rose Garden. This will make a great addition to the Monarch Waystation area that all will enjoy. We look forward to working with Keep Farmers Branch Beautiful in the future on additional collaborations within the City in a Park.
