Consider excusing the absence of Mayor Robert C. Dye from the April 20, 2021, City Council meeting; and take appropriate action

BACKGROUND:
As a matter of practice, City Council has excused the absence of a City Council member when a member has a pre-noticed excusable absence. By excusing an absence, the City Council member is not penalized with using one of the three absences allowed in the Charter.
DISCUSSION:
The City Council may wish to consider excusing the absence of Mayor Robert C. Dye from the April 20, 2021 City Council meeting.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the absence of Mayor Robert C. Dye from the April 20, 2021 City Council meeting.
