Body

BACKGROUND:

A retaining wall failure occurred along Cooks Creek drainage channel located north of Valwood Parkway east of Josey Lane.  This project involves the replacement of approximately 116 feet of a concrete retaining wall.  This is the third such failure this wall has experienced over the past six (6) years.  The possible reason for the failure is inadequate drainage behind the wall during heavy rain events.
