Consider annual Board and Commission appointments; and take appropriate action

BACKGROUND:
Annually, the City Council appoints members to serve on Boards and Commissions to fill term vacancies. The City Council met June 9, 2021 to review and discuss 72 applications from residents who wish to serve on a Board and Commission. After review, the City Council created a slate preference list.
DISCUSSION:
The City Council will consider approving the slate preference list to appoint members to fill annual Board and Commissions vacancies which occur on June 30, 2021.
RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends City Council approve the slate preference list to appoint members to fill annual board vacancies.
ACTIONS:
1) Motion to adopt the attached slate preference list, as presented.
2) Motion to amend the slate preference list and approve, as amended.
3) Motion to seek more applicants.
