BACKGROUND:
The 2021-22 Budget includes $1.5 million for the renovation of the second floor of the Recreation Center. One of the renovation elements consists of electrical installation for the fitness equipment.
DISCUSSION:
The City solicited a quote from Groves Electrical Service, Inc. through the Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing contract for the installation of electrical for fitness equipment at the Recreation Center. Staff reviewed the quote and found it met the project scope and specifications.

RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends approving the award of the electrical for the fitness equipment at the Recreation Center to Groves Electrical Service, Inc. in the amount of $50,386.
POSSIBLE COUNCIL ACTION:
1. I move to approve Resolution 2022-87, authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute an agreement with Groves Electrical Service, Inc. to perform the Recreation Center Electrical work.
2. I move to approve Resolution 2022-87, authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute an agreement with Groves Electrical Service, Inc. to perform the Recreation Center Electrical work, with modifications.
3. I move to table the issue for further study or take no action.
