BACKGROUND:
The FY2022-23 Fixed Asset Fund for vehicles and equipment includes $40,000 for the purchase of one new Chevrolet Colorado Pickup Truck for Neighborhood Services. This purchase supports Critical Business Outcome - Plan for, build, and maintain high quality public assets.
DISCUSSION:
The City of Farmers Branch requested a quotation from the Texas Buyboard Purchasing Contract. City Administration evaluated the quotation as to meeting specifications and desire to award the purchase of the new Chevrolet Colorado Pickup Truck to Caldwell Chevrolet.
The FY2022-23 budget amount for the equipment is $40,000. The quotations for new Chevrolet Colorado Pickup Trucks came in $30,960. The remaining funds of $9,090 will be utilized to upfit/outfit the vehicle.

Budgeted Financial Impact - $40,000
RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends approval of Resolution No. 2023-072 as presented.
