BACKGROUND:
The FY 2022-23 Fixed Asset Fund for vehicles and equipment includes $45,000 for the purchase of one new Chevrolet Silverado Pickup Truck for Facilities Management. This purchase supports Critical Business Outcome - Plan for, build, and maintain high quality public assets.
DISCUSSION:
The City of Farmers Branch requested a quotation from the Texas Buyboard Purchasing Contract. City Administration evaluated the quotation as to meeting specifications and desire to award the purchase of the new Chevrolet Silverado Pickup Truck to Caldwell Chevrolet. The FY 2022-23 budget amount for the equipment is $45,000. The quotations for new Chevrolet Silverado Pickup Truck came in $42,840. The remaining funds of $2,160 will be utilized to upfit/outfit the vehicle.

RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends approving Resolution No. 2023-073
