Title

Conduct a public hearing and consider a request from Texas Motorworx for a Specific Use Permit for automobile and related service uses located at 11419 Ferrell Drive and take appropriate action.

 

Body

BACKGROUND:

The applicant, Texas Motorworx would like to relocate its existing business in McKinney to this new location in Farmers Branch. The company specializes in custom sales of truck parts including bumpers, wheels, shocks and lighting. As well as installation of these parts. The request is not for any outdoor storage or display. All of the repair and installation will take place indoors. The site is within Planned Development 22 (PD-22) zoning district, which requires a Specific Use Permit for automobile and related service uses.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval of the proposed Specific Use Permit.

2.                     Motion to recommend Denial of the repeal of the Specific Use Permit and associated site plan as presented at this meeting.
